Welcome to Art By Amy Anne. I am Amy Cook, a Scottish artist based in East Kilbride, Glasgow. I work mainly on a commission basis, creating original paintings and drawings that capture people, animals, and places with accuracy and sensitivity. I work closely with clients to capture their ideas and transform them into original artwork that is personal and created to be enjoyed for years to come.

Commissioning a painting or drawing is straightforward. I will guide you through subject, size, and medium, ensuring the finished artwork reflects your ideas. Communication is clear and flexible, making the process enjoyable, collaborative, and personal.
Each commission is approached with care and attention to detail. From portraits and landscapes, to animals and special places, my aim is to create original artwork that will be enjoyed for many years.

Subjects That Inspire Me
My work spans portraits, pets, animals, wildlife, landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, and murals, created with careful observation and attention to detail. I work in acrylic, watercolour, charcoal, pastel, pencil, and ink, selecting the medium that best suits the subject and the client’s ideas.
Each piece is unique, shaped by both technique and close observation. My portfolio includes commissioned artworks and independent studies, covering a range of subjects that demonstrate my approach across different themes and styles.
